We encourage you to prepare supportive community-level interventions for cold weather. With the sudden change in temperature, some people may not be prepared and there could be an increased risk of cold-related health impacts. Please see the attached document 2024/ 2025 VCH Winter Health Resource for Community Organizations that your organization can use to prepare and respond, as capacity allows. This resource also includes cold weather shelter information within the VCH region. VCH staff are available for training, presentations, and consultation.
