Post-COVID-19 – A Mental Health Perspective – PHSA

The learning objectives for this session include:

• The learner will review the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic on mental health in general
• The learner will explore the mental health sequelae of COVID-19 infection
• The learner will describe pathophysiological and other mechanisms related to COVID-19 and psychiatric illness
• The learner will define treatment approaches for common psychiatric presentations in the Post-COVID-19 patient population

Implants and IUDs – Comparing and Inserting Long Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARC) – UBC CPD

PART 1: PRE-RECORDED LECTURE (60 MINS) & LIVE Q & A SESSION (45 MINS)

You will receive the pre-recorded lecture 5 days prior to the live Q&A session. Broadcast for live Q&A begins at 9:00 AM PDT and you must attend in order to obtain credits. Anyone can attend but you must register for the virtual lecture in order to attend the workshops.

PART 2: HANDS-ON VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS (90 MIN EACH)

Hosted by local AND experienced providers!

  • Workshop A: Implants (90 min) — 5 people per trainer.  (max. 40 registrants)
  • Workshop B: IUD Insertion and Managing Difficult Insertions (90 min) — 5 people per trainer (max. 20 registrants)

Please note that if you only register to attend one workshop that you may have a break between the virtual lecture and the time of your workshop. You can sign up for both workshops or just one. Registration by February 4th is required to ensure we have the time to prepare and ship the kits. You will be assigned to workshops based on your workshop selections; therefore, please do not book anything before 1:15pm until you receive your confirmation.
