Opioid use disorder continues to be one of the most pressing public health challenges in Vancouver, where family physicians play a critical role in providing timely, compassionate, and evidence-based care. This accredited session, led by Dr. Tara Andrusiak and hosted in partnership with the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU), will help family physicians strengthen their clinical knowledge and comfort in supporting patients with opioid use disorder across screening, diagnosis, withdrawal management, and opioid agonist treatment (OAT).
