Adult day services assist seniors and adults with disabilities to continue to live in their own homes by providing supportive group programs and activities in the community. There are 12 funded Adult Day Programs in Vancouver and after a challenging period of closure in the heat of the pandemic, they are up and running again. There are Adult Day Program spaces available across the city.

To access this service, an individual requires a referral to a Home Health Case Manager. To make a Home Health Case Manager Referral anyone may call Vancouver Community Central Intake at (604) 263-7377. A Health Care Professional can complete the Central Intake Referral form and fax it to (604) 267- 3419.
Adult Day Programs are designed for adults who have physical and/or memory challenges or are living with a chronic illness. The program is for individuals who may struggle to attend programs at conventional community centers. Clients of VCH Adult Day Programs travel to a location in their community 1-2 days per week where they are met by knowledgeable and caring staff offering a variety of services.
