PWD Applications: Supporting Patients Through the Process
The Vancouver Division of Family Practice (VDoFP) is pleased to offer a virtual learning opportunity designed to support primary care providers and allied health professionals in assisting patients with Persons with Disabilities (PWD) applications.
Building on feedback from Vancouver’s Primary Care Network (PCN) Interprofessional Teams, this webinar will provide foundational knowledge, practical guidance, and resources to help providers navigate the PWD application process with their patients. Presenters from the Disability Alliance of BC will share insights, workflows, and communication strategies to make the process more approachable for both providers and patients.
