As part of Vancouver Division’s commitment to truth and reconciliation, we have partnered with VCH to offer their Hummingbird Indigenous Cultural Safety Training to the Division community. ICS Hummingbird is VCH’s equivalent to the San’yas Program, which teaches foundational awareness of Indigenous history, the impacts of colonization, cultural humility, and how to integrate cultural safety into practice.
