Job Specifics

This Vancouver clinic is looking to have a Nurse Practitioner join their clinical team. As part of a multi-disciplinary approach to full-service family medicine, an interested NP would work collaboratively in the team environment and start their own patient panel as per Ministry requirements. This will be a full-time or part-time salaried position. This clinic is excited to add to their team a Nurse Practitioner interested in working together to provide primary care for the surrounding community of patients. This initiative is part of Primary Care Networks (PCNs) evolving in Vancouver. NPs interested in this opportunity should be willing to work collaboratively and participate in PCN development in the community. Vital Path Addictions Clinic, a busy, well-managed clinic with the goal to provide wrap-around medical support for people in treatment and post-treatment. The clinic currently has 3 addiction physicians on staff and is looking to grow their team. Join their dynamic, collaborative environment and enjoy the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals.  The Clinic Offers:
  • 1 exam room
  • Open offices on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Our clinic specializes in addiction treatment, mental health, and recovery, as well as other related services. The patients are in the treatment center, sober living or alumni of the treatment program. We have over 400 beds in population – not everyone needs to see the doctor, but we need someone on site to help with the general needs of those who have exited the cycle of addiction to a better life. Allied Health: We have 3 MOAs, 2 NP, 1 RN and 1 psychotherapist. We also have access to elders. Parking/Bike/Transit information: Easily accessible by transit and parking. Hours: The clinic is subject to doctors’ hours. We prefer 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Practice Information

We do meaningful work in an overdose poisoning crisis. Our patients need proper care, especially for exiting addiction – they have not cared for themselves, and a lot of medical issues come up, including infection, infectious diseases, gynecological problems, undiagnosed mental health, and physical ailments.
