Santé Ouest Community Health Centre, a multidisciplinary team-based approach clinic in Kitsilano, is looking to grow their team. It serves the francophone population of the Lower Mainland, aiming to provide primary, low-barrier, culturally safe, and coordinated care. The CHC offers longitudinal care (including mental health and addiction services). The patient population will consist of francophone newcomers, LGBTQ2S+ and Indigenous individuals, isolated seniors, youth, and other groups who have faced barriers accessing healthcare in the English-speaking primary care system. Very diverse population in terms of immigration status, ethnicities, gender, income levels, etc.
The clinic will adopt a holistic approach, and will conduct appointments both virtually and in person to promote care accessibility. There are 4 exam rooms and 1 charting room. The clinic’s multidisciplinary team will consist of 3 physicians, supported by 2 nurse practitioners, 2 registered nurses, 2 social workers, and 3 medical office assistants.
