Job Specifics

Mid-Main Medical Clinic & CHC are looking to grow their team by 1 or 2 providers and are specifically seeking a family physician to take over a partial panel of one of one of their long-term physicians who is looking to transition into retirement within the next year. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the physician while you build out your panel to ensure a smooth handover. As a key member of the team, you will:

Provide full-spectrum family medicine, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Engage in shared decision-making with patients, fostering a holistic approach to health.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care.
Participate in community outreach and health promotion initiatives.
After-hours on-call rotation shared on a 1:9 rotation.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to continue to improve patient outcomes and patient/ provider experience. Have an innovative idea to help improve the lives of the community we serve? We will help you make it happen.

Qualifications & Experience

Physician registered in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C., certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

A background in working with youth, mental health, addictions, refugees and frail elderly desired.
Experience or training in quality improvement is an asset.
