iCON – Health Resources for the Chinese and South Asian Communities
UBC’s InterCultural Online Health Network (iCON) works to advance person- and family-centred care in B.C. through a community-driven approach.
They do this by working with multicultural communities (Chinese and South Asian) to tailor health information in a way that empowers patients and family caregivers with the knowledge to better manage chronic diseases, navigate primary care and use digital tools to support their health.
iCON has provided Chinese and Punjabi-language posters for doctors to share with patients and family caregivers .
