A Panel & Workshop on Building Respectful, Inclusive Work Cultures
Research shows how important nature contact is for health, improving rates of anxiety, depression, respiratory and cardiovascular disease, and many other health conditions. Today, the Vancouver Division of Family Practice officially endorsed BC Parks Foundation’s PaRx, Canada’s national, evidence-based nature prescription program, that works with healthcare professionals to prescribe time in nature for patient and planetary health.
Each prescriber who registers with PaRx receives a nature prescription file customized with a unique provider code, and instructions for how to prescribe and log nature prescriptions. Patients can also access special offers from its proud partners like Evo and Parks Canada to reduce their barriers to nature access across Canada.
