MOA Recruitment Pilot Program

Overview

Welcome to the VDoFP Medical Office Assistant (MOA) recruitment pilot program. The Clinic Business Solutions team is here to support Vancouver primary care’s MOA recruitment needs.

For clinics interested in MOA recruitment, our program is designed to simplify the hiring process. For MOAs and Clinic Managers looking for work, the Work in Vancouver platform is a centralized place for you to find available positions in primary care clinics across Vancouver.

Contact us at cbs@vancouverdivision.com for any questions.

For Clinics

Our program will create a job posting on your behalf and send you a filtered list of candidates based on your job description. You will be responsible for contacting candidates and scheduling interviews.

What We Provide:
  • Your job posting will be live on our Work in Vancouver site within one week of form submission.
  • We will match candidates to your requirements as closely as possible.
  • We will send candidate batches on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on your preference and the volume of applicants received.

Postings remain active on our site for six months. They will not appear on external job platforms, though you are welcome to post independently elsewhere.

Your Responsibilities:

As a condition of displaying your posting on our Work in Vancouver site you must:

  • Provide feedback on each batch of candidates before the next batch is sent. — let us know if you’ve reviewed the resumes and if any adjustments to candidate criteria are needed. If we don’t receive feedback, we will halt sending additional candidates.
  • Notify us when a candidate has been hired and complete a brief feedback survey. In the absence of consistent communication from the clinic, your posting will be taken down.

For MOAs & Clinic Managers

The Work in Vancouver website can be used to find available positions in primary care clinics across Vancouver.

We will collect information about your general qualifications, such as EMR experience or language skills, so we can match you with relevant postings.

What We Provide:

If your profile meets the criteria for a posted position, we will forward your resume to the applicable clinic. The clinic will contact you directly if they wish to schedule an interview.

Please note that the Vancouver Division is not able to provide updates on individual application status.
