The Menopause Matters: Foundations in Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT) engagement event held on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, and convened family physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals from across Vancouver Primary Care Networks to strengthen knowledge and confidence in menopausal hormone therapy within menopause care.

The Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Application Webinar, on February 24, 2026, was hosted by the Vancouver Division of Family Practice in collaboration with Disability Alliance BC. The webinar was designed to support primary care providers in navigating the PWD application process and strengthening their ability to assist patients in completing applications. This session was developed in response to provider feedback indicating a need for clearer guidance on completing PWD applications, including eligibility criteria, documentation expectations, and common reasons applications may be denied.

The Menopause Matters: Patient-Centered Care Forum, held on October 21, 2025, brought together Vancouver’s PCNs to explore patient-centered approaches to menopause care. The event created space for primary care providers, PCN partners, and community representatives to share insights, learn strategies, and discuss how to better support patients experiencing the menopause transition.
