Improving Primary Care for New-to-Practice Physicians & Medical School Residents

The Vancouver Division is looking to gain insight into the drivers and motivators of the younger and newer-to-practice (NTP) physician cohort. The goal is to better understand this broad question:

‘What attracts young physicians to primary care and how can we ensure to retain them in the system?’.

The Vancouver Division’s Clinic Business Solutions (CBS) team as well as the Recruitment & Retention (R&R) team will support this goal by conducting an engagement research project whereby the above question will be broken down into its various components and lenses with the ultimate goal of tapping into the wisdom of the group at large to learn how we can improve primary care and make it more attractive for young physicians.
